Well hello there....

It's been a while!  And boy have we been busy.  Since my last post I have been heavily involved in the campaign to save Independent Midwifery - and there is light at the end of the tunnel!  I will be writing about that with my other hat on.  In the meantime, we are back, and looking forward to blogging again about our homeed journey.

Talking of journeys, tomorrow we head off on the trip of a life-time; hence the timing with this post.  We have planned a 7 week trip to the States, starting off in Colorado and finishing in LA.  We are SOOOOO EXCITED.  If not a little scared.  At 8am tomorrow I will be flying off with the children (Ben joins us later) as we start the first leg of our trip.  We have three flights tomorrow to reach our final destination - and the children have NEVER flown.  Well, if you gonna do it, might as well be all in?...... hmmm (not too sure about that).

Over the next few weeks we will be bringing you up-to-date on all that we have been up to, all the ideas we posted about in the past and sharing our exciting 'USA' journey with you.
