We came to home education in July 2011, following urgent pleas from our daughter not to send her up to the local state education secondary school.

We had friends who home educated and had considered this in the past, so the idea was not a 'new' one. As a family we felt it was the right decision to offer the children the option of becoming home educated; the rest, as they say, is history!

We have read countless books, joined various organisations, made lots of new friends, and entered a whole new world of thinking and discovering; we are on a journey together in the search for 'education' and participating in a more fulfiling life.
